You may have heard this statement a million times over ... no doubt, like many others, you are also facing some challenges with lockdown and covid. 

Whether it's financial concerns, job security, health scare or the damage covid is doing to our economy, we are all facing challenging times ahead.

With the second lockdown now firmly in place, we are asking all our customers, readers and shoppers out there to consider trying out independent businesses for gifts, homeware and much more. 

Whether you shop with us or another retailer, please consider shopping local. With hospitality and retail the hardest hit, every item you buy from an independent retailer will mean so much to us all. It will allow us to continue trading and most importantly, allow us to continue providing you with unique items that you will not find elsewhere. 

Independent retailers and consumer facing businesses are important for your local towns and communities. 

Stats show that for every £1 spent with a local, independent business, between 50p-70p circulates back into that local economy.
